Funny story: Stockholm, 7:45 am at Nobis Hotel. The driver arrives to pick up the female model, Elena, and myself. I’m running 3 minutes late because I’m finishing a coffee in the breakfast room. I get to the lobby just 3 minutes later to find an empty lobby and decide to call the driver, who had texted me earlier to confirm our on-time pickup. So, on the phone he realizes the mistake and says he’ll be back to pick me up after the drop-off of the other models. He comes back, picks me up, explains that this “other model” said his name was Garrett (very odd) and within 10 minutes we’re at the studio. As I’m walking down the large, Lincoln tunnel sized corridor at Filmhuset I see a familiar face coming towards me it’s Marlon Teixeira. We say hello, how are you etc. then I walk to greet production and we have a laugh about the mix up at the hotel. Knowing that Marlon isn’t on our job I ask if any other Swedish brands are in the studio, they say “no, Marlon and Elena are dating and he must have come along to Stockholm with her.” Not wanting ask too many questions, I go back to speak with Marlon again about various things and he volunteers that his girlfriend is back in New York. I put two and two together and realize that Marlon is probably not at the right studio, because his client isn’t in this studio. Here’s what happened earlier: at 7:45am Marlon, who also happens to be staying @nobishotel comes downstairs, sees the driver and Elena, and assumes he’s meant to be with them. The driver says to them, “are you Garrett and Elena?” Elena says “yes”, Marlon, of course, also says “yes” and they drive off to the studio. So to memorialize the moment, before Marlon went off to the correct studio we took this photo. by @gwneff
