I’ll write some of the most interesting parts:
He does say that last year, when he was at the Chanel fashion show, he talked with Karl Lagerfeld and he didn’t remember that they worked together, one of Marlon’s first jobs was for Dior and Karl was the photographer, and when he told that to Karl he couldn’t believe they were the same person and how much Marlon has changed over the years and that he is a man now, then he casted him for one of his campaigns. He said that he used to be ashamed to tell his friends that he is a model because he was scared of what they would think, but now he accepts it, and his friends dodn’t judge him for it, they even think is kind of cool. He got into modeling because it was that or working at Mc Donalds. And when they paid him the first time he couldn’t believe it and was very worried that they would call to ask their money back. He talked about when he had cancer, and he lost his father, and how he thinks that it helped him mature soon so he could be prepared for the life he has now. He talks about the female and male market in the modeling industry and how the female market is so much bigger but the male is also growing. He says that he is not competitive about his job, but of course everybody always wants to be the best they can. He says that everything that happens with his life it’s because he is not expecting it, so he doesn’t know where he is going to be in the next few years, but he hopes he will have a house near the beach and a few children running around.
